Drug information explainer
Explain a medicine's uses, dose and side effects from its official label, never giving personal advice.
The brief
Patients search the internet for medicine information and find unreliable answers. Build an app that explains a medicine from its official label in simple language: what it is for, usual doses, common side effects and warnings, and always sends personal questions to a doctor or pharmacist. Good looks like: answers checked against the label on 40 questions, quoted label sections, and safe refusals.
What you will build
- Collect official labels for a set of medicines
- Design prompts that answer only from the label
- Quote the label section behind each answer
- Test on 40 questions, including unsafe ones
- Build the app and report accuracy and cost
Free, open data to build it with
