The brief

A quality control lab copies instrument results into spreadsheets by hand, and mistakes slip through. Build a tool that reads instrument exports, calculates the reported values, checks them against specifications and flags any out-of-specification batch, with an audit trail of every step. Good looks like: calculations checked against worked examples, clear flags, and a record of who ran what and when.
