Drug interaction and duplicate therapy checker

Check a list of medicines for dangerous combinations and duplicates, citing the label text.

The brief

Patients on several medicines face interactions that nobody checks. Build a checker that takes a medicine list, finds interactions and duplicate drugs from official labels, ranks them by severity, and quotes the label sentence that backs each warning. Good looks like: tested on 30 known combinations, no invented warnings, and a clear message that a pharmacist makes the final decision.

What you will build

  1. Collect label text for 50 common medicines
  2. Extract interaction sections
  3. Match each pair in a medicine list
  4. Rank warnings by severity
  5. Quote the supporting label sentence
  6. Test on 30 known combinations
