IoT sensor logger and daily summary

Collect temperature and humidity readings, store them and summarise each day, with faulty sensors flagged.

The brief

A lab or warehouse wants to know when conditions go out of range. Read readings from real sensors (or a recorded sensor network), store them in a database, summarise each day, and flag sensors that drift or stop reporting. Good looks like: a clean storage design, daily summaries, and fault rules that catch dead and drifting sensors.

What you will build

  1. Read the sensor logs or a live sensor
  2. Store readings in a time-series friendly database
  3. Summarise each day per sensor
  4. Flag missing, stuck and drifting sensors
  5. Show it on a simple dashboard
