Machine OEE and uptime calculator

Read machine sensor and event logs and calculate uptime and OEE for each machine and shift.

The brief

A plant manager hears that machines are "always running", but output says otherwise. Read machine telemetry and event logs, calculate availability, performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) for each machine and shift, and show where time is lost. Good looks like: clear OEE definitions, results that reconcile with the raw logs, and a shift-wise dashboard.

What you will build

  1. Load telemetry, error and maintenance logs
  2. Define shifts, run time and downtime
  3. Calculate availability, performance and OEE
  4. Find the machines and shifts losing most time
  5. Build a simple OEE dashboard
