Store sales cleaner and daily summary

The brief

A small bakery chain exports its sales every day but nobody looks at them. Clean the point-of-sale data and summarise sales by product, day of week and hour, so the owner knows what to bake and when to staff the counter. Good looks like: a documented cleaning log, reconciled totals, and three clear recommendations.
