Predict used car prices from age, kilometres, brand and fuel type.
The brief
Used car buyers and sellers in India rarely know a fair price. Build regression models that predict a car's resale price from its details, compare them, and show what drives value. Good looks like: careful cleaning, honest validation, a comparison of models, and a simple price estimator.
What you will build
- Clean the listings and handle outliers
- Engineer features such as age and brand groups
- Train linear, tree-based and boosted models
- Evaluate with cross-validation and error measures
- Build a price estimator with the main drivers explained
