Home energy advisor and outage response agent
An agent that reads bills to suggest savings and solar payback, and groups outage complaints to draft crew dispatch for approval.
The brief
Utilities want agents that help both customers and control rooms. Build an agent that reads a customer's bills, suggests savings and estimates rooftop-solar payback; and a second mode that groups outage complaints by feeder, checks crew availability and drafts dispatch orders for a supervisor to approve. Good looks like: well-defined tools, approval before any dispatch, scripted test cases, and success rate and cost per task.
What you will build
- Build tools: bill reader, tariff calculator, solar estimate, crew roster
- Build the agent with LangGraph and an approval step
- Group complaints by feeder and time
- Test on scripted customer and outage cases
- Measure correct advice, correct dispatch drafts and cost
- Log every action
