A RAG assistant over rooftop-solar schemes and CEA regulations that answers customers and engineers with sources.
The brief
Customers ask about rooftop-solar subsidies, and engineers about grid regulations; both search long official documents. Build an assistant over scheme documents and CEA regulations that answers with the exact clause or page, and says when the documents do not answer. Good looks like: a pipeline for long official PDFs, retrieval compared on 50+ test questions, citations on every answer, and refusals when unsure.
What you will build
- Collect PM Surya Ghar, MNRE and CEA documents
- Parse and chunk them by clause
- Build hybrid retrieval with re-ranking
- Write 50+ test questions for customers and engineers
- Evaluate faithfulness and retrieval recall
- Deploy with citations and an "I don't know" path
