Healthcare capstone: safe hospital help-desk assistant
Solve a real hospital problem end to end, such as a patient help desk, with privacy, safety guardrails and monitoring.
The brief
Patients call hospitals for directions, timings, reports and billing questions, and staff answer the same things all day. Build and deploy a help-desk assistant (or another hospital AI product you scope with your mentor) that follows the DPDP Act, never gives medical advice, and is monitored. Good looks like: a deployed product, safety and privacy reviews, measured quality and cost, and a demo for a panel.
What you will build
- Scope the problem and success measures with your mentor
- Build the assistant with grounding in hospital information
- Add privacy controls and medical-safety guardrails
- Red-team it and fix the findings
- Deploy with monitoring of quality, safety and cost
- Present the results to a panel
